Being Serious About Health

Not just workout, Will Smith also focuses on being in a good form of health. After losing all the pandemic weight gain, he had said, "No more midnight muffins…this is it."

Weightlifting Training

He does weightlifting training 5 days per week focused on one or two body parts. This increases muscle mass and sculpts the body of the actor.

Running

Apart from intense workouts, Will also loves running. He runs at least 5 miles 6 days a week. If he is late for something, he starts running, says his trainer. Running burns calories faster.

Sturctured Calorie Intake

He usually takes in 3500 calories in about 5 meals. In order to maximise muscle repair he takes a protein rich diet.

Walking Steps

His trainer had challenged him to cover 10,000 steps per day. Sometimes Will doubled it to 20,000 steps.

Running

He underwent a pyramid training routine, to build up strength and prevent injuries, which began with lighter weights and more repetitions gradually taking up heavier weights and less repetitions.

Calories Deficit

In order to lose weight one needs to burn more calories than consumed. To lose weight during the pandemic Will was asked to burn 500 more calories.
